How to Update Manjaro

In this video I will show you how to update Manjaro. You will learn how to check for updates, the proper procedure to use when updating and what to do after an update.

Manjaro is a rolling release of Linux based on Archlinux. Being a rolling release it will never go out of date, meaning that newer versions will automatically be updated.

Manjaro uses a package manager called Pamac. It will update all the software in your computer, not just the core operating system.

We will go through how to check if you have updates, updating the kernel and removing old kernels. The kernel is the central part of the operating system that enables each part of the system to communicate with each other.
