Doing the Best you Can

All of our lives we have been told “do your best” to “give it all you have.” It is natural & normal for honorable people to give their best in life. When challenged, people often said, “I am doing my best, just accept me the way I am (untransformed, un-Christ-like & selfish).” In human relating, apart from God, this can be a legitimate idea. But is it a legitimate idea in the life of a born-again Christian? Does God desire that we give Him our human best? Has He given us a better way to live where we allow Him to do His best in us & thru us?
