3 Disturbing Posts from Reddit [Vol. 76]

The first story is about how the story teller moves into a new apartment and starts to like it. However over time the apartments around them start getting renovated due to their old age and population boom in the area. One night they are up at 1 AM watching TV when they hear someone walking up the stairs behind them and stop directly behind them. They can hear the story teller inside the apartment breathing. They get up and look outside and see no one. They call the cops and a cop comes and talks to the person who was outside but the cop just leaves. The story teller calls their landlord and asks if there is someone living in the apartment next door. They say no. The story teller heads to their police station and explains the situation. The person who was in the other apartment is never seen again. The second story is about how the story teller is on a road trip making it home for Thanksgiving when they stop at a local diner to get some food. As they are walking out of the diner they notice a van parked beside their car in a suspicious manner. They talk to another person there and ask if they can check it out and they sure. The person walks up to the van and tells them to run. They call the cops but by that time the van drives out of there. The man said there were two men inside the van with tools. The men are never seen again. The third story is about how the story teller and her mom decide to go get the mail at the post office. The story teller is young and wants to get out of the car to grab the mail herself. However, after approaching the post office a old man comes up to her telling her that she should come with him to check out his dog. The story teller almost falls for this but ends up wanting to get back to their mom. The man tries to grab her but she is able to run off and get in the car. Her mom brushes it off as the man just being a drunk, but the man is never seen again.
