2. Famíliam tuam, quǽsumus, Dómine, contínua pietáte custódi:
Guard Your household, we beseech You, O Lord, with unceasing care,

3. ut a cunctis adversitátibus, te protegénte, sit líbera,
that under Your protection it may be free from all harm

4. et in bonis áctibus tuo nómini sit devóta.
and serve You by good deeds.

5. Per Dóminum nostrum Iesum Christum, Fílium tuum:
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord,
