Clean Up the World Day with Gibraltar Heritage Trust, Sept 2022

THE SPAIN GIBRALTAR CHANNEL joined in with Gibraltar Heritage Trust for Clean Up the World Day 2022, organized around The Rock of Gibraltar by The Environmental Safety Group. Gibraltar Heritage Trust called on members to volunteer to clean up rubbish and litter at Princess Amelia Battery, located over halfway up The Rock and overlooking the Gibraltar Airport.

The clean up was very successful with volunteers working hard, getting into tight spaces, pulling bottles, cans and glass out of nooks and crannies, leaving no stone unturned.
