In this video, I discuss the executive reshuffling at MicroStrategy and whether Michael Saylor and the company are abandoning Bitcoin in the process.

I conclude that media coverage of this move has been completely unfair. Saylor has turned over daily CEO duties to someone else, so that he can focus on Bitcoin education and Bitcoin acquisition by MicroStrategy full-time. This is very bullish both for Bitcoin and for MicroStrategy.

Michael Saylor's investment strategy of moving fiat cash into Bitcoin makes perfect sense in this inflationary environment, and it is unfair to comment on its short-term fluctuations.

Digital asset impairment charges are an accounting requirement that is quite misleading, and has no fundamental long-term effect on the value of the company. Accounting rules should probably find a better way to show the devastating results of fiat devaluation on balance sheet cash.

MicroStrategy will continue to prosper, and I hope that Michael Saylor will continue to be as generous with his time and insights as he has been in the past few years.

I personally prefer to hold BTC itself, rather than MSTR, though many individuals and institutions will choose to hold MSTR due to various investment constraints.

At the end of the video, I also comment on how the SEC has approved many dangerous ETFs, while consistently denying applications for a Bitcoin spot ETF.

Regulators, auditors, accountants, and financial journalists all deserve what is coming to them in the new Bitcoin era.
