We continue our series about the Cold War weapons, and the new episode is dedicated to another legendary Soviet and US tanks.

In the midst of the Vietnam war, a new tank was put into service that would change the entire structure of the USSR’s tank forces. This new one was as fast as the light ones, but armed with incredibly powerful weapons like the heavyweights. This is how the T-64 was born.

But the machine turned out to be very cramped and had other problems - it took years to refine the design. How was it resolved and what part the Yom Kippur War took in relationships between USA and Soviet Union?
