Australians assess flood damage, brace for more rain

Thousands of Australians returned to their homes and businesses on Monday (October 17) even as evacuation warnings remained in inland regions of the southeast. Authorities are warning of more rain ahead which could trigger renewed flooding, as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said "we are living in very dangerous times in the days and weeks ahead".
