Navigating the online leftist political space is no easy thing. It is incredibly hard to find honest actors. And there are people out there whom, we can legitimate disagreements, but can still be relied on to give their honest takes. But there are also a ton of grifters out there and it can be difficult not to get sucked up in their nonsense. Emma gives you her thoughts on how to tell an honest actor from a grifter.

I was calling today most I guess just to talk about a few weeks ago when you guys did the Stephen Crowder bits upon the breakdown and everything that was so upsetting you know just that whole thing. And I got upset seeing you upset as well. and I'm a new father and so that stuff just affects me probably more than it used to. But I heard a really interesting interview from Katie Halper's show not related to the Stephen Crowder thing I think it was useful idiots with veterinarian latte. And it was an interesting kind of take on Ukraine and I don't really want to get into the Ukraine thing I know you guys have been feeling a lot of questions on that. But mostly it was just kind of like it's hard for me as a guy who you know is not a full-time I'm going to follow politics you know I think like most people it's hard for me sometimes to keep track of who are the good faith operators in the left space. I mean I guess got really more sort of into this with the Bernie Sanders campaign in 2016 and Katie Halper was kind of like my entry point into a lot of that stuff. And then went on to like Chapo trap house. Or like TYT. I've dabbled with Jimmy Dore briefly. I got out before he seemed to go in the unique Direction. You know but I mean I used to think that you know Glenn Greenwald was like a good-faith guy. I said you know he seems to like you know he seems quite strange. and it's just I mean I like your show quite a bit so I might try to listen every day when I can. But it's just kind of hard to keep track, you know? Like you know afterward I find myself having to go okay let me Wikipedia this person who has interviewed to see you know are they crazy. You know it's a weird phenomenon and I don't know if you guys just have kind of a take on the mediascape. You know it's not like you know oh you know well let me just say you're you know hot gospel it's just weird to let me just say this about Katie Halper we support her 100 in the in what the hill has done in terms of retaliating against her because of her stance on Israeli apartheid.
