It is not advisable to consider that there is a General Care for the orchids included within the Oncidium Alliance. 330 species, and goodness knows how many more nothogenus, are within what is categorized as Oncidium Alliance Orchids. Within the Oncidium Alliance, are species which require cool to cold growing conditions, including high humidity, dry winter rest etc... those conditions would be the death of many of the orchids within the Oncidium Alliance Genera. While the nothogenera within the Oncidium Alliance Orchids can be given a general care guide, they 2 have been hybridized with cool to cold growing oncidiums, sooooo .... I have prepared 35 Oncidium Alliance Care Cards, which include some of the most commonly sold genuses and nothogenuses on the market. If I had continued with the Care Cards, I would easily have reached 50. The Oncidium Alliance Care Cards in this video incl. Temperature, Light, Fertilizer and set up requirements, from organic media and inorganic media.
