Two Steps:
1) Avoid QR (Quick Response) codes at self checkout or with cashier. QR codes are different than bar codes. Bar codes are a bunch of black vertical bars over a white background with a 10 to 15 digit number above or below. This code simply identifies the exact item being purchased.

QR (Quick Response) codes are a square box with a very irregular black & white checkered pattern. QR codes are used via the camera on one's cell phone. Thus they will track the purchase to the individual for marketers and governments to make use of the data being tracked - item purchased, cost, location, seller, buyer, etc.

2. For one's own health security, avoid using seed based vegetable oils, such as canola oil (actually a manufactured oil), grapeseed oil, corn oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, sunflower seed oil, etc. Such oils are made from the seed, and not from the flesh of any vegetable.

Instead use vegetable oils that are extracted from the flesh of a vegetable, such as olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil or palm oil. I personally use Avocado oil, as Avocado oil has the highest smoke point of any vegetable oil. The smoke point is the temperature at which an oil breaks down from heat.
