🦊Apple - our urban fox vixen has sarcoptic mange confirmed by South Essex Wildlife Hospital

I have been concerned by the state of Apple's fur for some time as she is scratching a lot and has now developed bald patches. I have been talking to the wonder South Essex Wildlife Hospital for a few weeks, and this video confirmed it. They will be sending me Ivermectin prescribed by a vet and the drug must be dispensed in one dose one week apart. We will put it in a cheese bread roll laced with Philadelphia cream cheese. So she will start to
recover very quickly. If untreated it gets progressively worse and can lead to great suffering and their eventual death. Ajax seems to be fine with lovely fur and the nurse said she may have it but has tip-top health so probably no reason to be concerned at the moment.
