This was one of our most popular series until *the other* video hosting platform decided it suddenly, no longer complied with their unwritten community standards. It is the 5th of a multi-part installment on making a sound suppressor from a fuel filter / oil filter. There are a LOT of videos discussing "Solvent Traps" but all seem to leave something out. I am a Title II NFA Manufacturer, meaning that I can build machine guns and silencers legally, so let's look at just how these work and determine if they're actual practical. This installment is the 5th, and captures a catastrophic failure on video. But that's not the end. In the next installment we're going to move forward and make it into a "real" silencer (in a home shop, "skunkworks" type of way) using readily available automotive parts. For new material, I am just coming off an 18 month medical nightmare, limiting my ability to shoot new videos, but I hope to be back very soon.
