A New Hope (a sermon on Genesis 12:1-3)

Human beings pass on their wisdom to their children through the telling of stories, and Christians do this through the retelling of Bible stories. What some Christians don't realise is that the Bible itself is one great big story - starting in a garden and ending in a city. That big story - the Biblical meta-narrative - starts in Genesis 12, with the introduction of the story's great hero - Abraham.
