OUR JOY AS INDWELT SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD

1 John 4:15-16 King James Version
15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

What difference does it make to you that Jesus dwells within you?

How do you see His presence in others?

I have to say guys that these questions really challenged and encouraged my heart, because it really got me to thinking just what difference it really makes that Jesus dwells in me. To know that Jesus dwells within me, that he has made his home within my heart, and he is my heavenly father and friend, gives me a joy I can't describe. It makes me want to love and serve my savior all the more, and to me that makes all the difference in the world. I especially got to thinking about that as I was reading this morning's passage of scripture, and God gave me some things that I want to share with you through this vlog tonight. I invite you all to join me in watching this vlog, and learn what it means to not only have Christ living inside of you, but what it means to be an indwelt son/daughter of the king! 😊

So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to ask this question of you tonight, and I pray that you can answer it, and answer it well.

How do others see Christ’s presence in you?

I know that's an interesting question to ask, but are you representing Christ well through your actions as well as your words? I believe that we see Christ's presence in others through their actions as well as their words. I believe that we see Christ Jesus through individuals who were truly saved and loved the Lord, because they willingly and humbly serve him without being noticed by others. This is something I pray that is your main focus, and that you remember and act on the fact that because you have Christ living inside of you, He guides you and helps you to grow more and more to be like Him. That you remember Jesus’s words in that if we love him, we will keep his commandments (John 14:15), and choose to live as the changed from inside out redeemed sons and daughters of the king that we truly are!
