China's Xi touts COVID fight in Party Congress opening

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday (October 16) touted the ruling Communist Party's fight against COVID-19 in the opening ceremony of the 20th Communist Party Congress, saying it has coordinated "epidemic prevention and control, as well as economic and social development to achieve significant positive results."
