Peaceful English Village Walk - Southrop, Cotswolds

Southrop is a picturesque village and civil parish in The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. It is situated on the River Leach.

The first record of the village is contained in the Domesday Book as Sudthropa or 'the southern independent farmstead'. The name 'thorp' being Saxon.
