Kandinsky's Colours And Shapes Video For Kids | Hands-On Education

In this video you will learn interesting information about Wassily Kandinsky (1866 – 1944). He was a Russian artist of the 19th and 20th centuries, born in the 19th century. He was one of the first artists to create purely abstract artworks.
Kandinsky was particularly interested in the emotional relationship between colours and the way people perceive different colours next to each other. For example the way red feels next to orange, compared to the way the same shade of red may feel next to blue. Squares with Concentric Circles (1913) is one of Kandinsky’s most famous colour studies in which he places different colours next to each other.
