Residential burglary suspect is quickly arrested by Atlanta officers
On October 11, 2022, Atlanta police were dispatched to W. Roxboro Rd in reference to a residential burglary. Upon arrival, the officer met with the reporting party who advised the property belonged to a former Atlanta Falcons football player.
Further investigation revealed there was clothing and jewelry that was stolen from the residence by the suspect. Through means of technology, officers were able to observe the male suspect and broadcast over radio his physical description. An officer working an off-duty extra job on patrol observed a male matching the description and was able to detain him without incident.
Further investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of stolen property from the residence and was wearing some of the stolen clothing. The male was later identified as 31-year-old Mr. Martin Williams and he was charged with two counts of 1st Degree Burglary.
