EU’s top court allows headscarf ban in workplace, with a certain condition

According to the EU Court of Justice, a headscarf ban in the workplace would not discriminate against anyone if applied to all employees equally. Meanwhile, the bloc has agreed to sanction Iran over its response to protests sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini, who died after being arrested by police over an alleged failure to properly cover her head.
