Have you ever seen a #whale shark? Whale Sharks are actually #fish, not whales. Even though Whale Sharks may look intimidating, they are actually very peaceful animals. They are not vicious predators like some other Sharks.

They are actually filter feeders. They swim through the water with their mouth open in order to eat. One cool fact about Whale Sharks is that they have teeth on their eyes.

That's right, Whale Sharks have teeth on their eyes. Whale Sharks can get as long as 39 feet. Now that is huge.

Just like other Sharks, Whale Sharks have cartilage not bones. If you are ever diving and you see a Whale Shark, don't panic and don't touch it. Just admire them from a distance. I never recommend trying to touch any animal in their natural habitat. Just let these beautiful Animals enjoy this wonderful planet.
