Algeria supported OPEC+ decision

"The latest OPEC+ decision is historic, excellent and serves the stability of the markets," Algerian Energy and Mining Minister Mohamed Arkab said.

The Secretary General of the alliance, the representative of Kuwait,Haysam al-Gais, also agreed with him: "We highly appreciate Algeria's firm and vital role in coordinating opinions and approving important agreements within the framework of OPEC."

Arkab and al-Gais expressed "full confidence in the positive impact of the agreement of October 5, 2022 in Vienna" on the situation on the oil market.
