EU calls China and Russia ‘threats’ in ‘war for the future of the entire world’

European Union leader Ursula von der Leyen warned China and Russia are a “global challenge” to Western hegemony. She called for weakening their influence in the Global South, cutting their access to raw materials, opposing Beijing’s Belt and Road Initiative, and expanding the EU.
