Nigerian Military Conducts Close Quarter Battle Drills

February 22, 2020 - Soldiers and Sailors from the Nigerian Army and Navy simulate conducting patrols and participate in close quarter battle (CQB) drills under the instruction of United Kingdom Soldiers as part of FLINTLOCK 20 in Thies, Senegal. Flintlock is an annual, integrated military and law enforcement exercise that has strengthened key partner-nation forces throughout North and West Africa since 2005. Flintlock is U.S. Africa Command’s premier and largest annual Special Operations Forces exercise.
