My latest entry in the 80s Synth Pop era. This tracks started in two parts. I have had a melody line and partial lyrics in my head for over a year, Every time I created a song it would be the first thing I would try to "fit". The second part of this was a moment of inspiration. I was loading the washing machine up with clothes when i started to hum a bass line. I knew I didn't want to forget it after putting the wash on I took out my MPC Live 2 and hammered out the bass line from my head to reality.

I could hear not only the drums but the melody line as well it was the one that has been in my head for over a year. To see if it fitted I used strings and it did and I kept those strings in the final track. Creating the song therefore was easy and seemed to write itself. I did struggle with the lyrics and the bridge and chorus for a melody line for a short time.

The lyrics came together quite easy. However strongly enough the mixing and mastering took the longest. I wanted to get a certain sound on the vocals and across the whole track and it too me many, many hours to find something that I liked.

While the track is not perfect (none of my work is) I am very happy with it and I hope you enjoy this song.
