There's been a lot of questions about how I do this and what I use. I do this every year if not more sometimes depending on what I'm fishing in. I think it's extremely important to keep your gear clean so when you need it, it won't fail. Take care of your gear and your gear will take care of you. Wouldn't want the fish of a lifetime on the end of your line to end up snapping your rod or breaking a guide.
