"The Muse Exchange began on Long Island, NY in a small back yard in 2012. Its' roots can be traced back a decade earlier to an open mic at a nightclub called The Munchaba Lounge in Nassau County. That open mic soon emerged as a beacon for poets, artists and musicians to gather and take creative risks in an environment built around imagination and trust. What followed was the evolution of all that risk taking.

The Muse Exchange is an open mic for poetry, comedy, storytelling and acoustic song. We are a tribe of poets and artists spread out across the country, devoted to keeping this gathering alive. Because Muse is more than just an open mic. It's a family reunion with people you haven't even met yet."
