I have a short growing season, so I rely on season extension to grow as much food as possible in my small garden. This plastic covered hoop tunnel is my go-to season extension technique to get a fall and winter harvest, and it only takes 10 minutes to install! This is a great alternative to a cold frame because it's so easy to install and take down. I'm able to grow lettuces and other greens through the fall and into winter with this simple season extender.
