In today's video, I'll be test fitting the new powertrain for the '89 Chevrolet S10! Instead of the original 4.3L V6, I'll be swapping in a mildly built 350 cu/in (5.7L) V8 and a built 700R4 automatic transmission. Before I can go any further, I have to make sure everything I have so far is going to fit. Once I get everything dialed in, I'll be able to start restoring the front end of the truck. Everyone's feedback on the project so far was taken into consideration and I very much appreciate it! I'll be incorporating many of your ideas throughout this series to create one sweet truck. There's still a lot to figure out, so let's take it one step at a time. In the last video, I did a complete teardown of the front end, which is going to make everything I'm wanting to do so much simpler. With the engine out, I can move forward with more restoration content too! It's going to be awesome!
