How to turn free apples into bacon - Free Range Homestead Ep 8

With the apple harvest season over in Western Australia we were very excited when the manager of LadyCroft Orchard, Bec Whittaker, said we could visit the property to harvest the unwanted apples. As budding homesteaders, keeping food costs low was one of the main things we wanted to achieve when raising these pigs and we think these apples will make perfect free winter feed.
