Dozens of horses were rescued out of rising floodwaters in south-eastern Australia on Friday (October 14) after incessant rains triggered flash flooding, forcing thousands of residents to evacuate. Local media reported about 200 stud horses were at risk of being washed away in the rural Victorian town of Mangalore when a call for help from volunteers was put out from the Yulong stud.
