Thailand diverts floodwater to save historic structures

Villagers, like mackerel vendor Laddawan Jitruk, living in central Thailand appealed on Thursday (October 13) for authorities to look into redirecting floodwater towards other provincial areas to protect ancient Buddhist temples, ruins and monuments in other parts of the province.
