How in the world is this related to soap? Well, the fragrance oil used in this batch is called Femme Fatale. So, of course, a female murderer immediately came to mind! Betty Lou Beets was a beautiful woman who experienced many tragedies in her lifetime. She went on to severely wound one husband and murder two others. To me, her story fits the exact definition of femme fatale. But I want to know what you think. Did her childhood traumas set her up for failure from the get-go? Was she a battered woman trying to escape abusive relationships? Or was she a cold-blooded killer who murdered her husbands for financial gain?
