The Age of The 700ish cc Adventure Bike

700cc, 750cc, and other 700ish cc Adventure bikes are coming. They're gonna be parallel twins and most have a 270 degree firing order. Why is that a big deal? BECAUSE THAT'S THE GOLDEN ENGINE. And lighter (yes still heavy compared to dual sports) Adventure bikes are just better. Turns out a 75ish HP Adventure bikes can do highway riding all day if needed but when you get to the off road parts it's actually nice to ride. The Yamaha Tenere 700 kicked it off, well actually the KTM 790 Adventure beat it to the market. But that's almost 50% more and KTM reliability, sorry but it's true. But now there's a number of rumors of others coming. Honda Transalp 750, a new V-Strom 700 with a Parallel twin (I think it should be called the P-Strom) and could we see a KLX700R? Japanese reliable, $10k mark, 21 inch wheel, 450ish LBS, 700ish cc parallel twin Adventure bikes YES MAKE THEM NOW. Can't wait to see if this comes true!
