Ruy Lopez | Poison Pawn Trap

Once again I get into my favorite trap when playing the Black side in the Ruy Lopez. Yes, that's right, it's the poison pawn trap which happens pretty early in the game, and leads to a devastating attack against White.

I have to say, I don't know how people find the clutch moves they need to continue playing without losing much material. It would be way beyond me to do on the fly. I only know the trap because I studied a few engine lines.

I miss a few beautiful tactics that result from the strong position, which we'll cover in the Game Review. See if you can spot them! I'll give you a hint.. at various points, you can take the knight and you can take the bishop... but you'll have to find those points on your own!
