This video is about how you can film in star trail photography with a fixed camera centered on Sigma Octantis in the southern hemisphere, yet at the same time a star tracker on a mount can track one of those stars in the rotation as it moves out of the rotation heading west. Meaning we have a star trail 15 degree motion and a drifting 15 degree motion ?? The drifting star turns up at the exact same place in the sky 4 minutes behind solar time because the stars are 4 minutes slower than the sun.
