Don't waste money on specialty purchases to sprout vegetables at home. All you need is a jar, a band, a coffee filter or mesh, water, and seeds or beans right from your shelf!

In this video I explain how you can grow sprouts without spending money on half-gallon jars, specialty lids, or stands.

**Using the oven: I have a vintage oven which uses a standing pilot light. This means the pilot light is always on, there is no igniter. My oven, therefore, stays warm enough to incubate ferments.
