"Since 1943, the IRS has been deceiving and coercing employers across the country into volunteering to be ‘de facto’ IRS collection agents. Employers, through payroll staff or payroll contractors, steal (“withhold”) a portion of their employees’ pay and then hand over that pay directly to the U.S. Treasury.
Unfortunately, convincing employers to STOP stealing the 7.65% FICA taxes (OASDI and Hospital Insurance, which supposedly goes to pay for “Social Security” and “Medicare” benefits) is very difficult at this point. However, the law DOES provide a sure way to STOP employers from sending advances to the IRS for supposed “individual income taxes” for which you are not liable!
