Stocks have dropped nearly 25% so far this year…so can they go lower? Of course they can, or they can go higher…they basically can do whatever they want, and will. They don’t care about what you, I, or anyone thinks; rather they are impacted ultimately by buyers and sellers who are influenced by macro and microeconomic events - such as a company’s profitability or the rising Treasury Yield and Dollar. This is why it’s important to monitor the various economic controls affecting the market and each investment, as well as the technical levels which can help us to determine when the conditions are ripe to either buy or sell a position. During this episode, we explore the technical climate we are facing that is helping to gauge our opinion.
