Answering the question of how many children Peter the Great had, several factors should be taken into account. First of all, the emperor had children from two wives and several minions. Also, six heirs of Tsar Peter the first died in infancy. There were only three descendants who survived more than 10 years: son Alexei, daughters Anna and Elizabeth. He had a total of 11 children.
