So glad you got to stop by for "PART 2" of our family story! Today we talk about arriving in Texas and getting settled in our rental house. We tell you about how we were blessed with the opportunity to buy our homestead that we are living on now just 8 months after living here. We also discuss how our family has grown since moving here (and continues to grow with baby #6 coming this June!). We talk about how we got our new land of 25 acres and what we look forward to over there as well as what we have been doing here on our homestead to become more sustainable over the past 3 years. We talk about the wonderful mercy of God to completely restore our family and share with you that there is always hope. Just four Texas brothers trying to homestead! Sit back and enjoy while we learn and enjoy the simple life together! We love making videos.

We raise goats, laying hens, meat birds, meat rabbits and mascovy ducks on our 5 acre homestead. We are planting fruit trees on contour, using swales to develop a sustainable food forest. While using our goats to clear land and our chickens to fertilize and till the ground, putting our animals to work for us implementing permaculture to maximize our efforts.
