In 2015 Vladimir Zhirinovsky Russia/Ukraine conflict
Late Russian Politician Predicted European History 7 Years Ago
Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the former firebrand leader of Russia’s LDPR party who died in April, apparently foresaw the course of history years in advance, according to a video that recently went viral.
In a clip from his 2015 appearance at a political talk show Zhirinovsky appears to predict events as recent as this week, including a Russia/Ukraine conflict and more specifically the partial mobilization effort launched yesterday by Moscow.
He blames the conflict itself on idle Western money, specifically in the US: “The basis and the reason for the war will be the fact that huge amounts of capital, trillions of dollars, will have nowhere to be invested in. … The only way would be to start a war in some part of Europe, and then a new Marshall Plan… First military shipments, then rebuilding efforts”.
Notably the clip’s virality came after the US military revealed it had spent $2.7 billion on military aid to Ukraine in total so far.
