Wizz Air plane ESCAPES from UKRAINE 🇺🇦

Did you know that low-cost airline Wizz Air was successful in secretly flying out one of it’s Airbus A320 planes from Ukraine? The airline saw four of its planes – one at the airport of Lviv, three more at a Kyiv airport – caught up in the outbreak of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in late February 2022. Those four planes have been parked there ever since, but one of them was flown of out Lviv a few days ago.

The Airbus A320 with registration HA-LWS departed from Lviv international airport but apparently did not broadcast its flight information while being over Ukraine. Or tracking websites have real-time flight information disabled for flights taking place over Ukraine because of security reasons. It popped up on the radar – as they call it – when it entered Polish airspace though. After Just over half an hour it safely landed at Katowice airport in Poland.

Wizz Air has three more Airbus A320 worth tens of millions of dollars stuck in Ukraine now. It’s not known whether these planes will be retrieved anytime soon.
