But are ktm's any good? Overall they're great bikes. Reliable, powerful and full of character. The duke 990.. from what I've read is a fan favorite and has some what of a cult following.... the responsiveness and agile capabilities make this bike a monster... especially back in 2006.
Down side to KTM is the price tag.... you pay a premium but just like with BMW you really do get a more well suited motorcycle compared to the Japanese bikes.

seriously though, this motorcycle is either on or off. The throttle response is that of a yfz450 dirtbike ...I weigh 155, ride like once every two weeks.... its just a lot for you to deal with when your not riding all of the time... hard to get used to.... Tis is a vibe though!
