Schmidt Variation Against Scotch Game

Ah, the good old Schmidt Variation. I wonder what happened to the John Variation, the Jacob Variation, and the Jingleheimer Variation?

I started playing this variation after getting completely wrecked by the Scotch many times, and so far I really like it.
