Adriana Chechik Breaking Her Back at TwitchCon is the Least of Twitch's Problems

Twitchcon looked like the biggest collection of internet weirdos you are likely to see all year. One of the biggest streamers, Adriana Chechik got her back BLOWN OUT while jumping into a foam pit, it broke her back in two places, requiring surgery. So theoretically, that would mean a ton more time to stream, and a lot less time at her other job. Chechik, like many other streamers on Twitch, is an Adult Film Star; a Mattress Actress if you will.

Here's the thing, there's nothing wrong with a young woman getting some side, it's just a bit off putting when it's not only allowed on platform, but encouraged. Chechik has been banned multiple times for overtly sexual acts as well as nudity. Each time, it's no biggie, just sit this one out for a week, come back and earn when you're ready. Be like Kimmikka, who was getting piped down on stream, but only caught a 7 day ban.

Twitch's demographics yield incredibly young and male. This type of content does not help, encourage or inform men; but it's still pushed. When Big Tech ultimately takes your favorite content creators scalp, realize what they are promoting, as well as what they are suppressing.
