Wanted to mention some detail I forgot to mention in my last video about Spinoza. He lived from 1632 to 1677. Newton published his laws of motion in 1686.

From Pg 160 Ethic:
“…it follows that a body in motion will continue in motion until it be determined to a state of rest by another body, and that a body at rest will continue at rest until it be determined to a state of motion by another body. This indeed is self-evident.” Spinoza 1677
