In this video, I discuss BTCMap.org, which allows you to find physical businesses worldwide that accept Bitcoin.

Open-source projects like this are very important in order to spur Bitcoin adoption and encourage a Bitcoin circular economy, where people are both earning BTC and spending BTC directly.

I suggest keeping your long-term BTC savings in cold storage.

Create a separate hot wallet on your phone that you can use for spending. Practice "spend and replace," and make sure to never do transactions between this hot wallet and your cold storage, for privacy reasons.

Also talk to business owners and tell them about the advantages of accepting Bitcoin, including being able to avoid 3% credit card transaction fees. Show them BTC Map, help them download the Muun wallet, and send them a few sats as a tip to get them started.

Even if you are not a developer or designer, this is an easy way to contribute to the growth of Bitcoin. You can also donate to BTC Map or volunteer to help them add businesses to their map.
