Koh Samui - Morning Beach walk Lamai to Natien Beach - Thailand 2022 with drone footage

Ko Samui or Koh Samui, also often locally shortened to Samui เกาะสมุย is an island off the east coast of Thailand. Geographically in the Chumphon Archipelago, it is part of Surat Thani Province. It is the second largest island in Thailand and a very popular destination for tourists.

The beaches of Koh Samui are the main reason why the island appears on the bucket list of so many travellers. The island has over 50 km of coastline hosting around 40 beaches, bays, and small coves.

A great way to start the day is with a walk along the beach. You are treated with the sights and sounds of the beach without the crowds.

In this video I start just west of the rocks on the southern part of Lamai beach. There is part of the beach that is private and relatively unknown. We get to see the beach from there over to the start of Natien Beach.
