The Straight ball is a REALLY, Really HARD ball to use. it's the most accrete & vary precise ball on ALL lane conditions YES! BUT the hook ball has a much wider strike range & is a WAY luckier ball because of the many, MANY strike angles because of the arc or the hook in.
There are 39 boards to the lane & there are at least 3 strike zones per board per lane YES, that is a FACT & that is 117 strike areas on every lane YES, BUT it is way easier to strike with the vary lucky spinning hook ball because of the arc. the arc changes & can strike on way more areas then a straight ball can & creates a lot more "LUCKY" plus is WAY easier to learn so I am saying that is why ALL Pro-bowlers use the Lucky hooking arc ball. I have NOT given up on the Straight ball yet but my videos will now show the arcing Lucky hook ball.
LOOK at my high game in a long time that was NOT a NO-Tap game it was game 20 that changed my mind: I had a HAM BONE then I ended the game with the back 5 strikes for a 247 game. this game was the 20th game it showed me I can still bowl great games & it was the first time in a year I tried the Lucky hook ball again!!! this also shows me it takes way LESS bowling to throw a great game. it took me 20 straight games to PROVE to myself the LUCKY HOOK BALL IS WAY easier to use & I still bowled 23 games in 2 hours 5 mins!!! with a 169 avg for the 20 games. I think I can do way better then that TOO!!! I don't think I can if I use the straight ball!?
